What the Register is
The National Register of Environmental Managers is the body that manages the registration of companies carrying out waste transport, brokerage, trading and remediation activities. Registration is a requirement for carrying out these activities.

The categories distinguish the activities: transport on own account, transport for third parties, brokerage and trading, remediation of sites and of asbestos-containing materials, and other activities provided for. Each category has specific requirements.
